 This aerator delivers a dispersed spray rather than a heavy steam, suitable for washing hands and brushing teeth. In a family of four where each person uses the bathroom sink 6 minutes a day, this aerator will reduce household water consumption by 48 gallons per day, or 17,520 gallons annually. Aerator savings are achieved by limiting water flow to just one-half gallon per minute (at 60 pounds per square inch of water pressure) instead of 2.5 gallons per minute.
